Guidelines also available in PDF format.
The proposal must be submitted using the template available in the conference web site. The proposal has to be submitted before the deadline (23rd May 2014). Convened sessions must have not more than 1 paper from each convener's institution. In addition, the proponents must be aware that in the case of a too small number of accepted papers, the session may be cancelled.
Proponents should try to meet one or more of the following criteria, in order to increase the chance of the session will be accepted:
- Balance between EU and non-EU contributions
- Good participation of industry, especially in application oriented sessions
- Dedicated sessions will be favourably considered provided that they are well motivated (European initiatives, Industry activities, Regional focus, …)
All convened papers have to be submitted within the same deadline (extended to October 19th) as regular papers, and should conform to the same specifications (minimum 2 pages).
Please note that for EuCAP 2015, and in order to ensure the same quality control as regular papers, convened papers will be reviewed by one of the conveners and by external reviewers.
Instructions
Convened Sessions are specifically organized in order to ensure state of the art presentations by soliciting researchers having a track record of scientific results on the topic.
Submission of papers for Convened Sessions follows the guidelines of regular papers. However, in order to upload the paper file to EDAS, a password is required, which has to be provided by Session Conveners.
For the sake of clarity, “convened papers” are distinct from “invited papers” and will go through an evaluation involving both conveners and external reviewers. Convened speakers and conveners will be required to register to EuCAP 2015, similarly to standard participants.
