Short Courses

Call

We welcome the submission of proposals for Short Courses at EuCAP’2015. Short Courses are intended as a tutorial overview of highly relevant topics within the areas of research of the antennas and propagation community.

The proposal must be submitted using the template available at this link. There can be 1 or 2 proponents. It has to be submitted before the deadline (extended to the 10^th October 2014). The proposal should be submitted via e-mail, to both Mário Silveirinha (mario.silveirinha@co.it.pt) and Vittorio Degli Esposti (v.degliesposti@unibo.it). The reception of the proposals will be acknowledged.

Short Courses can be either half-day (normally 4h including break) or full-day (normally 8h including break).

Short Courses will be held on the Sunday prior to the conference, 12^th April 2015.

Instructions

The proponents of the Short Courses will be informed if their proposal has been accepted by the conference Steering Committee on 17th November 2014. Advertisement at the conference website of the approved proposals and registration will start soon after. By the 15^th of February 2015 (early bird registration deadline to the conference) only the Short Courses with more than 5 registrations (for a half-day course) or 7 registrations (for a full-day course) will go ahead. Registrations for these courses will be open until the 15^th of March 2015.

The course fee is 100 € per participant for a half-day course, and 150 € per participant for a full day one. The instructor(s) total fee for a course with N participant is 50 € × (N-5) for a half day course and 75 € × (N-7) for a full day course.
